Kozolci so slovenska arhitekturna posebnost, delimo jih na enojne in dvojne kozolce (toplar).
Toplar so uporabljali v različne namene: za sušenje žit in krme v "štantih", za skladiščenje pridelkov v nadstropju in podstrešju, za spravljanje orodja in opreme v pritličju.

The kozolec (hayrack) is a free standing, permanent, mainly wooden, vertical, open but roofed device for drying and storing the goods: hay and grain. They are divided by the single and double hayracks (toplar). It is the ethnical architecture existing exclusively in ethnical territory of Slovenian nation.
