DEUTSCH:
Dies ist ein Nacht-Wander-Multi-Cache am Eichkogel bei Mödling. Du legst dabei ca. 8 Kilometer und ca. 300 Höhenmeter zurück. Während der Tour musst Du weitere Informationen sammeln, Berechnungen und Zahlenumwandlungen vornehmen sowie Dir umfangreiche Notizen machen. Zeitbedarf ca. 4 Stunden. Die angegebenen Werte gelten für die gesamte Runde. Es ergeben sich immer wieder schöne Ausblicke auf das nächtliche Wien und in das südliche Wiener Becken.
Die gesamte Strecke – mit Ausnahme der unmittelbar letzten Meter zu den Stages und zum Cache – ist auf Wegen/Trampelpfaden begehbar. Da der Eichkogel NATURSCHUTZGEBIET ist, wird ausdrücklich empfohlen, diese Wege zu benützen.
Die Stages und der Cache selbst liegen immer nahe an Wegen/Trampelpfaden. Deshalb nach dem Bergen bitte wieder gut tarnen – danke!
ACHTUNG: Es gibt immer noch Bombentrichter, Laufgräben und diverse Überreste alter Stellungen (besonders im Gipfelbereich) aus dem 2. Weltkrieg! Deshalb VORSICHT!

Was Du benötigst:
- Festes Schuhwerk
- Papier und Bleistift
- Eine starke Taschenlampe
- Kompass
- Die Möglichkeit Hexadezimalzahlen (hex) in Dezimalzahlen umzuwandeln
Zum Ablauf:
- Sind NUR Koordinaten angegeben, so begib Dich zu dieser Position und lokalisiere den nächsten Reflektor
- 1 Reflektor => lokalisiere den nächsten Reflektor
- 2 Reflektoren => in unmittelbarer Nähe findest Du weitere Informationen
- Hexadezimalzahlen (hex) müssen immer in Dezimalzahlen umgerechnet werden
Besondere Hinweise:
- Bitte BEACHTE die Cache-Bewertung (D4), die Attribute und die Beschreibung!
- Dies ist KEIN gewöhlicher Nachtcache, bei dem Du von Reflektor zu Reflektor spazierst und dann ein "Found" ins Logbuch einträgst!
- Abschnittsweise musst Du die OPTIMALE ROUTE zu vorgegebenen Koordinaten SELBST so planen, dass Umwege vermieden werden.
- Dieser Cache soll zu einer kurzweiligen Nachtwanderung anregen, mit dem Motto "Der Weg ist das Ziel" - auch wenn er nicht immer konsequent geradeaus führt.

ENGLISH:
This is a Night-Hiking-Multi-Cache at the “Eichkogel” near Moedling. Route length is approx. 8 Kilometers, the difference in altitude approx. 300 Meters. During the tour you have to collect further information, to perform some calculations and number translations and to take extensive notes as well. Duration: Approx. 4 hours. All values are for the round trip. From some positions you have a nice view of the nightly Vienna and the southern “Wiener Becken”.
The entire tour – except the very last meters to the stages and the cache – can be done on trails. Given that the “Eichkogel” is a NATUR-SANCTUARY, it is explicitly recommended to do so.
As all stages and the cache are close to trails, please hide them well again after use – many thanks!
ATTENTION: There are still old bomb craters, trenches and other relicts from World War II (especially in the area around the summit). So be careful!

What to bring with you:

- The possibility of converting hexadecimal numbers (hex) into decimal numbers
How it works:
- If ONLY coordinates are stated, go to these coordinates and use your flashlight to locate the next reflector
- 1 reflector => look for the next reflector
- 2 reflectors => in immediate proximity you can find further instructions
- Hexadecimal numbers (hex) always have to be converted into decimal numbers
Special notes:
- Please PAY ATTENTION to the degree of difficulty (D4), the attributes and the description of the cache!
- This cache ist not a normal night cache, where you walk from reflector to reflector and write down "found" in the logbook afterwards!
- In some sections you have to plan an optimal route according to given coordinates by yourself, so that there are no detours.
- This cache should encourage you to enjoy an entertainig hike in the dark. Motto: "The way is the aim" - even if it does lead directly there.
