Geocache Description:

Come and celebrate this rather special date with us in
The Moorings Bar, Dungarvan, Co Waterford.

121212 is the last time any of us will see such a repeat of numbers in a date given the next occurrence will be next century! There is a geocaching souvenir to mark the occasion so why not attend an event or find a cache and earn yourself what will be a distinctive souvenir.

We will be in attendance from about 19h00 and the event will start at 19h30 sharp in the snug (behind the bar) with the signing of the logbook. Food should you desire it is available, in fact the establishment is some what known for its good food.

Everyone is welcome, new and not so new cachers, young or old although the mini-geo's do have to vacate the premises at 21h00

The event has a Christmas theme to it and we ask that you bring at the very least a Santa hat for the official photo and optionally a Secret Santa Gift (not more than €5) should you wish to take part in the exchange of gifts, please remember to wrap your gift. Keep it simple, things you would place in a cache/like to find are ideal.

For the Secret Santa and to get a better idea of exact numbers attending we would be grateful if you indicated on your Will Attend log if you will be partaking in Secret Santa and the number in your party
