Happened to be around this neck of the woods – when I saw an old disused track. Decided to take a quick peak! Ah that’s where it leads! To the best view of Googong’s exit gate (spillway) and dam wall! And what with the dam full at the moment, and the spillway overflowing – it is impressive indeed! Shouldn’t be too hard, and as per normal, be careful of snakes in the warmer months. Also, this location is only open from 8.00am to 8.00pm (5.00pm during non-daylight savings). So don’t bother coming outside those hours!
