Miller Ammo Can Hide #2 – Lest We Forget
This geocache is dedicated to the Men & Women who in
some way, shape or form have contributed to the
Canadian Forces.
November 11 is a special day for various reasons to my geohunny. It is Geohunny’s birthday and more importantly it is a day set aside in Rememberance.
November 11 is “remembrance for the men and women who have served, and continue to serve our country during times of war, conflict and peace.”
To Geohunny, Rememberance is almost a daily basis. There is a machine in the shop that proudly bears a plaque from the Dept. of Munitions and Supply in Ottawa. Yes, Geohunny’s Grandfather was put to work supplying whatever was necessary for the Canadian Government. Geohunny’s grandfather never served overseas because his work in Canada was equally as important.
We both have family members who served in the Canadian Forces both in the past and presently serve, so we are reminded and remember all year.

To Find the Coordinates to first point of reference, you need to solve the following:
N 49° AB.CDE
W 097° FG.HIJ
You will have to find out the branches where our Veterans are exclusively welcome:
AB=the sum of Norwood + Elmwood minus(-) St. James
CDE=Sam Steele - Charleswood - Winnipeg + Polish Canada
FG=West Kildonan
HIJ=South Osborne minus(-) Brooklands
This will bring you to a small film canister that will reveal the final co-ordinates! Beware, the cache may very well be camoed in field dressing to blend in with its enviroment!
Please note that this cache will not be available until after the 11 day of the 11th month of the 11th hour of 2012! BUT it will still be available year round.
