Koska Suomen tulevien eventtien listassa ei näkynyt yhtään* 12-12-12 teeman tapahtumaa, teimme porukalla niitä samalla vaivalla 12 kappaletta, kun vauhtiin kerran päästiin.
Kaikki eventit ovat omia itsenäisiä kokonaisuuksiaan, eli voit osallistua (tai olla osallistumatta) niihin tapahtumiin jotka sopivat omiin aikatauluihisi ja intresseihisi. Järjestäjät ovat keskenään katsoneet aikatauluja siten, että kaikkiin ehtii, jos ei ole muita harrastusta haittaavia esteitä.

Muutoksia (6. joulukuuta):
Johan se talvi ennätti eteläänkin, joten Keskuspuiston citoaminen ei valitettavasti onnistu. Korkeampi taho ei taida edes kelpuuttaa lumien lapioimista siivoamiseksi, vaikka mm. viime talvea muistellen moni voisi olla vähän sitä mieltä, että tässä maassa tulee lunta kuin roskaa.
Yhteistuumin löysimme eventille uuden, keliolosuhteisiin paremmin soveltuvan paikan, joten ei siis huolta: pääsemme kuin pääsemmekin likaamaan kätemme, tällä kertaa talvilöydettävien roskien parissa.
Aikataulu on edelleen sama, aloitellaan 12:45 ja lähdetään kun roska loppuu tai viimeistään 13:45. Peruscitovälineiden lisäksi taskulamppu on erittäin suositeltava varuste, sillä tunnelissa on pimeää.
Keskuspuiston metsissä voi törmätä "tämä ei ole roskan" lisäksi roskaan. Arkistointikuntoisten pakasterasioiden ja muun rojun lakaiseminen aloitetaan koordinaateista klo 12:45, valtaosa poistunee viimeistään 13:45. Roska ei varmasti lopu kesken, mutta keruuvälineistä voi olla pulaa, joten otathan omasi mukaan.
Ratsastien päähän mahtunee autoja, mutta pysäköintitilaa ei ole mahdottomasti. Perille pääsee lisäksi julkisilla kulkuneuvoilla - ja hevosella.
Tärkeä huomio säävarauksesta (20. marraskuuta): Eventin aikana vallitsevasta lumettomuustilanteesta ei ole mitään takuita. Tällä hetkellä keli näyttää CITOn kannalta lupaavalta, mutta mikäli lunta pyryttää jäljellä olevien viikkojen kuluessa taivaan täydeltä, siivoamisesta ei luonnollisesti tule mitään.

As there doesn't seem to be a 12-12-12-themed event on the list of upcoming events for the whole of Finland*, a bunch of us got carried away and made not only one but 12 events!
Each event is independent of the others, so you can participate (or not) in the one(s) that fit your schedule and interests. The organisers have planned the timing so that it's possible to attend all of them, if you have no commitments that would prevent you from doing so.

Changes (6 December):
And so the winter reached Southern Finland. This means that unfortunately cleaning the Central Park is not possible; I do think that clearing the snow is not considered to be actual "cleaning" even though there IS more snow than trash.
But please do not worry: together we were able to find a new, more suitable place for the event. This trash is also available in winter so you will be provided a chance to get your hands dirty after all.
The schedule will be the same, we will start at 12:45 pm and finish when we run out of trash or at 1:45 pm. It is highly recommended to take a flashlight along with the basic CITO equipment because it is dark in the tunnels.
In the Central Park there is both "this is not trash" and trash. We'll start at the given coordinates at 12:45 pm and finish before 1:45 pm. Most likely there will not be enough CITO equipment for everyone, so please bring your own!
You can park your car in the end of Ratsastie. It is also possible to use public transport - or ride a horse.
Important note about the weather (20 November): At the moment it seems that there will be no (or just little) snow but if it snows a lot during the few weeks before the event, we won't be able to do any cleaning. We'll keep you posted on any changes.
