CZ: Historie sboru

Počátky společenství Archy sahají do 20. a 30. let minulého století. Z domácích skupinek soustředěných kolem několika křesťanů postupně vyrostlo malé společenství, které se hlásilo k Jednotě českobratrské. Poválečná totalitní doba pro něj byla velmi dramatická. Jeho někteří členové i tehdejší kazatel Jaroslav Polanský prošli komunistickým vězením (1962). Navzdory tomu se tito stateční lidé nadále setkávali, modlili a prokázali obdivuhodnou vytrvalost a obětavost. Pardubické společenství zůstávalo po dlouhou dobu nuceně součástí rozlehlého litomyšlského sboru Církve bratrské (tak se změnil název Jednoty českobratrské v roce 1967). Postupně se však rozvíjelo až k osamostatnění, k němuž státní úřady daly souhlas pár měsíců před sametovou revolucí. V roce 1998 se společenství se svými aktivitami přemístilo z centra města do Archy – nového moderního kostela na sídlišti v Polabinách. Krátce nato se od pardubického sboru Církve bratrské oddělil samostatný sbor chrudimský (2000).
Církev bratrskou v České republice dnes tvoří více než 75 sborů v různých městech a hlásí se k ní přes deset tisíc lidí. Je iniciativní ve spolupráci s jinými křesťanskými církvemi.

Beginnings Community Archy back to the 20 and 30 last century. The home groups centered around several Christians gradually built a small community that is reported to the Unity of Czech Brethren . Post-war totalitarian period for him was very dramatic. Its some members of the then minister Jaroslav Polanský through Communist prisons (1962). Despite this, these brave people continued to meet, pray and showed admirable perseverance and dedication. Pardubické community has long been forced to part of a large congregation of the Church of the Brethren Litomyšl (thus changing the name of the Unity of Czech Brethren in 1967) . Gradually, however, developed to empower , to which state authorities gave their agreement a few months before the Velvet Revolution. In 1998, the community moved its activities from the city to the Ark - a new modern church in a housing estate in Polabinách . Shortly afterwards, the Church of the Brethren congregation Pardubice separated independent congregation Chrudim (2000).

Church of the Brethren in the Czech Republic today consists of more than 75 churches in different cities and reports to her over ten thousand people. It is an initiative in collaboration with other Christian churches.
