Beach clean up day with the National Trust - 1 December 2012
This beach is part of a long circular walk taking in the best of Cornwall's 'forgotten corner'. It is under the watchful eye of Tregantle Fort and just down the road from Trethill House near Crafthole.
It will be a 9.30am start, and is scheduled to finish at about 3.30pm.
Instructions from the National Trust are to please bring sturdy footwear, work gloves if you have them, waterproofs and lunch.
The beach clean has been cleared with MoD - so don't worry about the firing range!
Come and support a good cause.... say thank you to the NT for all the caches they have allowed us to hide on their land :-D
Please meet at Crafthole village. Park on the roadside in any appropriate place and meet at the bus stop near the Finnygook Inn. Coords for the bus stop are N 50 21.896, W 004 18.014
There is no specific age limit for this event, however, children under 16 must have adult supervision. If a DofE group joins the CTIO, the leader must be prepared to be responsible for the group.
