I wonder why there are not even any caches on the bund - are there too many muggles? Well, let's try it with a spot, a little of the main attraction center, but still of historical heritage and with great views to the Pudong side of Shanghai.
This Tower used to be the Bund Observatory and has been established in 1865 - almost 150 years ago! Hard to believe, that Pudong, the other side of the river, used to be wetland just about 20 years ago from today.

The tower holds a cafe and restaurant in it. It seemed to me, that you need to be on the reservation list to be allowed to enter.
The cache could be a bit tricky to find due to the many muggles and the size of it. You might get your fingers a bit dirty..
