Geocache Description:

Peace Health at RiverBend is Lane County’s newest hospital and largest private employer. The beautiful ski lodge-like Springfield campus opened in 2008 as a sanctuary for health and healing. Home to the Oregon Heart & Vascular Institute and the Oregon Neurosciences Institute, the facilities offer state of the art treatment and the grounds offer natural serenity.

Peace Health joined forces with the FOOD For Lane County Youth Farm. The Youth Farm sells produce in the hospital parking lot every Thursday during the summer and fall. In 2011, the farm sold 7,600 pounds of fresh produce to hospital staff, visitors and the community. Peace Health uses all the resources the bounty of the Willamette Valley offers to keep our community healthy.
