I made it most of the way to this cache in a small hatchback, but your mileage may vary. Tyre tracks nearby from recent wet weather indicated to me that it's probably best to walk from lower down if the weather's not so great.
This is the first cache that I've hidden, so I'll try to visit a few times to see how it handles the heat, wetness and humidity of Fiji.
You'll most likely not see another person at this site, except a few cows and goats grazing nearby. The grass can be quite long, so be careful. One sneaked up on me as I was taking some GPS readings! In my experience, the goats roam free, but the cows are tied to ropes. In any case try not to startle, or be startled by, any tethered, leathered friends.
The location of this cache is currently not being looked after by anybody, so please take any waste that you find with you. I heard from the 'curator' of a similar site in Fiji that this site may be taken over by the government in late 2012 in an attempt at preservation (or to make it into a tourist site). ...but obviously hasn't happened yet (as of July 2014).
