You will see a phenomenon usally associated with cold dark places deep underground. To claim this as a find you will have to carry out the following tasks and email me the answers to me at my geocaching address.
1) Give the name usually given to these objects?
2) Describe the objects?
3) Explain how they are formed?
4) Estimate how long the longest object is?
5) Given that the growth rate for these objects is 0.1 to 0.2 milimetres a year when they are underground, how long do you think they have been growing there? Does this seem likely or does this suggest these objects are at a growing faster rate.
6) What would you normally expect to find hidden out of sight below each of these objects?
If you have sent me your replies to the questions on the Web page, there is no need to wait for a reply from me before logging your finds. I try to reply to all emails but as I have five Central London Earthcache, I receive about 4 emails a day which is something like 1,400 emails a year. Unfortunately l recently was rather behind with replying but I have now managed to catch up with my replies. If you have not received a reply, please email me. If there is any one who could help me to automate the replies please contact me>
