This cache must be accessed through the hatchery. Please park in the designated parking area.
The McKenzie Fish Hatchery was first constructed in the 1930’s, but rebuilt in 1975. The property includes 30 ponds, a visitor’s center, a spawning room, egg incubation facility, fish ladder and a picnic area. Stop by in the fall to see spawning Chinook salmon. Group tours of the hatchery are available by appointment.
