Geocache Description:

Hike your way through history on this section of the Pacific Crest Trail. The stretch traces the western base of the Three Sisters. The PCT spans 2,650 miles from Mexico to Canada and boasts the most significant elevation change in all of America’s National Scenic Trials. The route was first explored in the 1930’s by a group of men from the YMCA. Now, thousands of hikers and equestrians make the trek every year, discovering old growth forests, plummeting waterfalls, glaciating expanses and nature’s harmony.
