Geocache Description:

A nice easy cache on a pathway which runs alongside Wycombe Air Park

Formerly known as RAF Booker, Wycombe Air Park (EGTB) is a small but very busy airfield primarily used for light aircraft flight training.
Owned by Airways Aero Associations, there are several flight training organisations which operate from the airfield. One of which I am currently training with, hence the placing of this cache.

This cache is placed on a public footpath which runs alongside the northern perimeter of airfield. The end of the runway you are nearest is 24, hence the cache name.

There is NO need to walk onto the airfield and the path to the cache is from a quiet road. Once you've found the cache, why not walk a bit further along the path and watch the aircraft landing and taking off? You'll get some good views from here of aircraft on final approach or having just lifted off the runway (wind direction dependant) and due to the usage of the airfield will see many different types of plane and helicopter.

Please, please if caching with children or animals keep them under control as the airfield is active most days of the year.
