This cache is located at the Overlook on the Bold Boast Trail owned by Maine Bureau of Parks and lands. This is a great day hike with little elevation gain. There are lots of rocks and roots, and some places where boardwalks have been built. The 1.5 mile hike to the overlook is well worth the view. This is a one of a kind, picturesque spot. It would be a shame to live a lifetime and never visit this spot. This was intended to be only a log, but container is about the size of a deck of cards.
The container is located on the ledge rocks before you reach the overlook. Note: when logging geocache into your GPS you'll want to label cache, as there is another cache nearby, and could easily get misidentified. I hate intruding on someone else's hide, but it's such a special place to me, I had to share my story.
