Geocache Description:

A Thanksgiving weekend clean-up in Moncton's Centennial Park. Bring your family, enjoy the fall colours, and tidy up a popular geocaching location at the same time.

When? Saturday 6th October 2012 from 13:30-15:30
Where? Centennial Park, Rotary Lodge entrance
Who? Geocachers of all ages and sizes

We will be meeting at the posted coordinates, which is also where you can park your car. There is no fee for parking or to use the park. We will be picking up garbage in more than one area of the park, so please come to the posted coordinates first so that you can find out where you will be going. We will have garbage bags for everyone as well as some garbage picking sticks for the first few people to borrow.

A few helpful hints:

Wear GREEN so that we stand out as an organized group
Bring your own work gloves and a garbage bag
There are water fountains in the park but you may wish to bring a water bottle with you
Public washrooms will be available close to the posted coordinates
A first aid kit and trained first aider will be available if needed

Please try to arrive by 13:30 so that we can send people out to the various areas of the park and have everyone back to the parking lot by 15:30.

Enjoy the fall colours. Do something together as a family. Do a good deed. A great family activity for Thanksgiving weekend.
