A origem vulcânica ilha da Madeira, o clima e a sua exposição ao mar, proporcionam formações geológicas peculiares. Na parte Este da ilha, em particular nesta área do Caniçal, a erosão modela o relevo e expõem autênticas jóias de pedra e pavimentos multicolores.
A Cache: Explore os vales de erosão para chegar ao GZ, não se aproxime de locais expostos, nem demasiado inclinados e escorregadios. Do esconderijo da cache olhe em direção ao mar, à sua esquerda, na superfície encontra a “ Pedra Morango”, uma das várias jóias coladas num pedestal que pode encontrar nas proximidades sob o olhar atento do seu guardião, uma criatura que a Natureza moldou na falésia no seu lado direito. Na aproximação final tenha em atenção rochas pouco seguras, contorne e procure por cima.

The volcanic origin of Madeira Island, its climate and exposure to sea, provides peculiar geological formations. In the eastern part of the island, in particular in the area of Caniçal, the erosion models the relief and exposes authentic jewelry of stone and multicolored floors.
