A cache near Agia Anna church.
Agia Anna is a small Byzantine church just before the village of Thripti. It was built at the end of the 14 century in a small and very beautiful pine forest. Unfortunate the most of its frescoes are destroyed.
The cache.
Everytime we were here we found people around the church so we decided to hide the cache near the church on the E4 path between Thripti and Monastiraki.
The parking waypoint is the church and the turn is where you turn from the main road. The road to Thripti is starting from Pano Chorio between Ierapetra and Pachia Ammos. This is one of the caches of the E4 CTC (Cretan Trail Caches).
