I wanted to thank all of you for your comments about the waitresses and their service. I will pass them along. We had a total of 65 people there and the staff there did an awesome job. I also want to pass along their comments about you. The owner said that in her over 20 years of ownership she has never had such a large group event go so well with such patience and courtesy showed by all of you. Well done. Geocachers all over the world will be gathering on this date to celebrate the last time - for a LONG time- that we will have three identical numerals together like this. Some folks are pushing it a little further and holding their events at 12:12 on 12/12/12.

Bring your geocaching family, your favorite stories of funniest, most outrageous, most unusual geocaching experiences, and gather with us at the HOLIDAY RESTAURANT in New Milford starting at about 6:00 P.M. for some last fun before the comets start to fall, or the Earth's crust fractures, aliens attack, or whatever nonsense people can come up with about doomsday.
And we will have this fantastic 2" coin for sale minted just for this event and designed by our old friend Avroair. Remember his pirate events? This coin is identical to coins being used by geocachers all over the world to celebrate this event with only the colors being different for each local event. It is trackable and has its own custom icon. The coins will sell for $7.50 each at the event.

There will be other events thoughout the US as well as the Netherlands, Australia, New Zealand, Sweden, Spain, UK, Scotland, Belgium, Germany, Canada, Nova Scotia, India, Czech Republic, Portugal ..... only to mention a few - all on the same day.
