MEGA South Africa 2012 – This cache has been placed for the duration of South Africa’s first Mega Event. This cache will remain after the Mega to be enjoyed by all geocachers. This cache has been placed with the kind permission of Voortrekker Monument Heritage Site. Please take care of the surrounding environment – this is a Nature Reserve.
The listed co-ords are about 30 meters away from the final hide.
Where to go and How are two parts that need to be solved. This is a large cache suitable and safe for trackables.
Where: At the listed coordinates, walk 30 meters in a Northerly direction. You will be walking to a large fruit bearing tree. From the listed coordinated is a path leading up to the tree, so no bundu bashing is required or allowed.
How: Locating the cache is easy, but how do you open it?
Please do not remove the cache. Work with the cache in its current position. Please be gentle, it will open for you. If a team is attempting the cache, let them finish before your attempt it.
