Blue Jean Treasures Traditional Geocache

This cache has been archived.

New York Admin: I regret to report that the cache owner has not responded to the prior note about this disabled cache. Nor has he/she updated the coordinates and enabled the cache page once it was found over a month ago. This places me in the unfortunate position I must archive this cache as abandoned.

Thanks,

Geocache Description:

The cache is a large plastic cylinder full of goodies hidden among the many trails of Saxon Woods Park. It is just a short trip off the main path near a bridge that goes over a small stream that feeds into a pond near Mamaroneck Ave. The cache can be found just upstream from the bridge but it's not hard to get to. The location is a short hike along mostly flat, dirt trails about equal distance from either of the two parking lots on the North East and South East ends of the park.

There are upwards of 10 caches in Saxon Woods Park, but it's a very large park, and they are spread out all over. You can easily spend several hours finding all of them. We thought this area could use one of its own since it is far from all the others. This is our first cache and we live in this neighborhood so we will be checking on it regularly. The name comes from the way the cache is decorated...you'll see!
