Geocache Description:

This is a series of caches from Thrapston and around Ringstead using the old railway line  and going via Denford. It is almost all 'off road'.

The walk is circular and takes about two to three hours. There are cafes and pubs in Thrapston and Ringstead and a pub en route in Denford. Beware nettles in Summer.

This one is at the fork of the Nene Way and shows you which way to turn to take you back to Thrapston. To get to it from 16, you have to walk over the top of a Float Your Boat cache underneath you on the river and through a field that often has cows in it.

The views across these fields and the branches of the River Nene are beautiful especially at dawn and sunset. This route can often be flooded which can make it tricky!

This cache links in with the Woodford series.
