Multi-cache through Nin. Starting coordinates are near the tourist info, there is also (paid) parking nearby.
Listing is under construction, everything you need to find the cache is there.

Ovaj multi cache ce vas provesti kroz znamenitosti Nina.
Nece vam trebati GPS izmedju starta i kraja ture, posto su svi stadiji naseg cache-a upravo ninske znamenitosti.
Pa ako ih prosjecni turisti mogu pronaci, sigurni smo da i ce i geocacheri.

Kod svakog stadija notirajte slijedece:
* Najblizu godinu (nama) koja je dana na tom mjestu. Znakovi koji opisuju to mjesto takodjer se ubrajaju. U slucaju da je dano samo stoljece, koristite zadnju godinu te ere.
* Koji broj fotografije detalja je koristen na tom mjestu. Svi detalji se mogu vidjeti u neposrednoj blizini mjesta znamenitosti.

Nakon sto ste posjetili sve lokacije, ucinite slijedece da bi dosli do lokacije cache-a:
* Sortirajte fotografije detalja po kronoloskom redu.
* Oznacite ih sa B..J
* Cache je sakriven na: N44 AB.CDE E15 FG.HIJ
* Ukljucite svoj GPS, unesite koordinatu i krenite u potragu.

Primjer: Gradska vrata.
Napravljena u 1. stoljecu AD, najstarije mjesto na nasoj ruti, stoga cemo im dati oznaku "A".
U blizini vrata naci cete detalj koji u sebi sadrzi "R". Na fotografiji detalja cete naci broj "1".
Za nas cache, koristite A=1.

Ovdje su znamenitosti koje smo ukljucili u ovaj cache, po nasem vlastitom poretku, koji ne morate slijediti.

Kip Kneza Branimira
Spomenik je podignut je u slavu vladara Branimira. Djelo je akademskog kipara Josipa Poljana. Lijevan je u Ljevaonici umjetnina 'Ujevic' u Zagrebu, a kameno postolje i knežev tron izradila je Kamenoklesarska radionica 'Krševan' iz Zadra.

Condura Croatica - staro 'rvacki brod
Na predjelu zvanom Usta, na ulazu u današnju ninsku luku, pronadena su dva potopljena broda natovarena s velikim kamenjem, koje svjedoci da su bili namjerno potopljeni. Dugi niz godina su konzervirani, s naglaskom na desolinizaciji (odstranjivanju soli iz drvene grade broda), a radiokarbonskom analizom uzoraka drveta utvrdeno je potjecu iz oko XXXX godine (ovo cete morati naci). Brodovi su nazvani Condura Croatica (kondura Kroatika). Jedan je izložen nakon što je potpuno konzerviran, a od drugog su izloženi samo dijelovi (oba broda nisu sacuvani u cjelosti). Ti brodovi su napravljeni i možda su plovili u vrijeme hrvatskih narodnih vladara Krešimira IV i Zvonimira. Prema jednom povijesnom napisu, u Krešimirovo vrijeme Hrvatska je imala 20.000 veslaca na kondurama, a drugi svjedoci da je kralj Tomislav imao samo u Ninu spremno 15.000 veslaca.

Statua izljevena u bronci - rad Ivana Meštrovica - biskupa Grgura Ninskog (stolovao je u Ninu od 900. do 929. godine), borca za ocuvanje i upotrebu narodnog pisma glagoljice.

Crkva je jedan od najpoznatijih spomenika hrvatskog predromanickog graditeljstva, sagradena je pocetkom XX stoljeca (ovo cete morati naci)

This multi will take you along most of the sights in Nin.
Between start and finish you won't need your GPS, the waypoints are all located at one of the many nice sights that Nin has to offer.
As any tourist can find these without a GPS, we expect that a geocacher can do it, too.

At each of the waypoint record the following:
* Highest year that is indicated on the waypoint. Official signs also count. In cases where an era is listed, you use the last year in that era.
* Which of the detail-pictures is taken at the waypoint. All details can be seen in viewing distance of the waypoint.

After you have visited all the waypoints, do the following to reach the cache:
* Sort the detail pictures in chronological order.
* Label them B..J
* The cache is hidden at: N44 AB.CDE E15 FG.HIJ
* Turn on your GPS, enter coordinates, and go for it.

As an example: City Gate.
It's from the first century. This is the oldest of the waypoints, and we therefore label it "A".
Near this waypoint you can find the detail with the letter "R". In that detail picture you find the number "1".
For the cache use A=1.

You can of course visit them in any order you like, and we recommend you get to see everything else that Nin has to offer as well.

On september 11 2017, heavy rainfall caused a large flood in this region, also destroying two bridges in Nin. The cache survived, but one of the waypoints (Condura) was damaged. At this waypoint the info sign is still there, but the boat and also the detail picture are gone.

We are hoping this sight will be restored in due time, and we will update the listing then.
In the meantime you get the detail at the Condura for free.
You could have found the lower left picture there, with value I.
