St Peter's is a lively mainstream Christian church, situated at the centre of Hextable. Together with St Paul's, in adjoining Swanley Village from which St Peter's (then known as Hextable Mission Church), was birthed in 1905. It forms the ecclesiastical parish formally known as "Swanley, St Paul", within the Anglican diocese of Rochester. The building of St Peter's is brick built with a black slate roof. Due to the expanding congregation an extension tothe church was built in 1980. The worship area is Octagonal in shape and inspired by the concept of a tent. It is well worth visiting inside. Further office extensions took place in 1988. Cache is a magnetic nano.
