This event is for anyone. If you are an experienced geocacher, please join us and share some of your knowlege and experience with newcomers to this great hobby and/or find some of the geocaches on this great trail system.
If you are interested in learning about geocaching and/or GPS use, this is where you need to be!
In partnership with the Municipality of the County of Annapolis we are pleased to present this Introduction to Geocaching. We will have loaner GPS units on hand for people who want to try caching but don't have a GPS.
This trail system is newly expanded - come and check it out.
I'm sure that those of you who have a GPS can find it without directions - for everyone else, here are the driving directions to the trail:
From Middleton take Highway #1 east towards Kingston. In Wilmot turn right at Guy's Frenchy's onto the Old Mill Road. This will take you across the Annapolis River. You will come to a sharp left turn not far after the bridge and then a sharp right turn. Right on the corner of this right turn you will see Adam Drive branching off to the left. The trail is located just up Adam Drive, in the Old Mill Subdivision.
From Greenwood take the route #201 west towards Nictaux. You will come to sort of a "Y" in the road where the 201 goes to the left and the Old Mill Road goes to the right. Take the Old Mill Road on the right and not far you will come to a sharp left turn where Adam Drive will junction off to the right. The trail is just up Adam Drive.
