It may not be in the description, but this is also a letterbox cache. There is a fun stamp inside but NO INK or INKPAD. You'll need to bring your own. There should also be some cute swag and travelbugs. Please trade fairly!
When you sign the log, please write your favorite dinosaur.
You may be wondering, what in the world is "REALIA???"
From wikipedia:
In education, realia (pronunciation reel-ee-ah) are objects from real life used in classroom instruction by educators to improve students' understanding of other cultures and real life situations. A teacher of a foreign language often employs realia to strengthen students' associations between words for everyday objects and the objects themselves. In many cases, these objects are part of an instructional kit which includes a manual and is thus considered as being part of a documentary whole by librarians.
Realia are also used to connect learners with the key focal point of a lesson by allowing tactile and multidimensional connection between learned material and the object of the lesson. They are best utilized for simple objects lending themselves to classroom settings and ease of control with minimum risk of accident throughout the student object interaction.
This cache is so awesome I can't stand it!
I'd scream but the librarian would scowl, so I'll stay mum. If you want to scream with delight, however, I can't stop you.
Way back in 2012, my son, railroader921, created this cache and asked me to be its owner since I live close by to maintain it. This is our first combined effort. You're gonna love it!
Yeah, it's pretty cool, but this is a library!
No squealing permitted at the find.
Please follow all the library rules.
When the cache is found, please be discreet. Open carefully, and away from curious muggle eyes. Bring very cool swag for fair trade. Geocoins and small TBs welcome. Make sure latches are secure when returning it to its location.
As you will see, the cache has been well used and is quite fragile. Please handle it with care. Keep the swag and travelbugs you leave small. The room is limited.
When you sign the log, please write the title of your favorite dinosaur. Please rehide out for view of muggles as you found it.
Also, please thank the librarian for letting us have a geocache here. The staff has been awesome and good PR will help it stay here.
Have fun! Please remember our payment for placing this cache is your log entry so try to write something more than TFTC, thanks.
Please stop on the way out and thank the librarian for letting us have this cache, which, by the way, is only available to be found during certain hours: Mon. - Thurs. 10 am - 9 pm Fri./Sat. 10 am - 6 pm Closed Sundays
