Geocache Description:

Bring your own pen to this easily accessible cache in Auckland City near a nifty piece of art.

Almost hidden in plain sight, Hau Te Kapapaka - The Flapping Wind is the name for this work in bronze and paint by Rachel Walters (2011).

Situated at one of the entrances to Myers Park, you shouldn't have any difficulty with the cache other than having to be discreet during busy times. The cache is not hidden on the sculpture, but the seat further down the road is a pretty good place to start.

Parking is non existent on Queen St itself, though you may have varying degrees of luck depending on the time of day of your visit with some of the nearby side streets.

Enjoy this cool little piece of art while you sign the log and see how many people walk straight on by.
Please re-hide as found.

Please note that the difficulty is set on this cache to reflect the fact that the area is busy and retrieving the cache can be a challenge at times. As such "touching" the cache doesn't really count as finding the cache as the job is only half done. Retrieve the cache and sign the log, you can do it!
