You can use the following website to judge the water conditions. This is the closest station I could find for readings, so it could be different than your trek.
When we hid the cache, the water level was 5.05 feet, less than 50 cubic feet per second discharge. Our kayak sometimes skimmed sand in certain areas, but the trek was easy and enjoyable.
