There has been a church in Upton Grey for upwards of 1000 years, and each generation has brought its faith and skills to it. The present nave and Norman arch date from around 1120, and the chancel from the early 1200's. Subsequent additions and alterations include the 1690 addition to the tower, and the Hoddington Aisle added in 1715 by John Limbrey. Apart from the addition of a vestry in 1909, the external structure of the church has now remained virtually unchanged for nearly 300 years.

Logging Etiquette: Geocache hiders sometimes go through a great deal of planning to place their caches. As a result, they'd like to hear your feedback on whether you liked or disliked any aspect of the hide, or if you feel that some cache maintenance is required. Single word, acronym, or emoticon logs may be easier when you have a lot of caches to log, but it doesn't tell the hider or other finders anything about your adventure (or lack thereof) in finding the cache. Please keep this in mind when entering your log. I receive a large number of emails notifying me of logs on my caches and I read them all. So please give me, and other cachers, something interesting to read!
