Was allerdings viele nicht wissen ist, dass er den Einfall für seine Romanserie "Per Anhalter ins All" in Innsbruck hatte, meiner Heimatstadt. Das hat sich so zugetragen, daß er einige kühle Gösser gezischt hat, sich auf den Campingplatz im olympischen Dorf (jetzt bereits eine Wohnsiedlung) gelegt hat und in die Sterne blickte. Das Resultat war eine der lustigsten Romanserien die es je gab, ein Vorbild für zahlreiche Geeks und auch "normale" Sci-Fi Fans.
Bei einer seiner Live-Lesungen in Innsbruck vor seinem Tod im Jahr 2001 konnte man noch Tränen lachen und sich darüber wundern wie ein einzelner Mensch auf so viele komische Ideen kommen kann. Darunter etwa die Antwort auf die Frage aller Fragen nach dem Leben dem Universum und allem (= A). Natürlich ist die nichts wert, wenn man nicht die eigentliche Frage nach dem Leben und dem Universum und allem kennt (= B*C, B > C).
Zum Cache:
Dies ist ein Pazifistencache. Das heisst, man muss keine Gewalt anwenden um ihn aufzubekommen. Die sichtbaren Koordinaten sind nicht weit entfernt. Wenn ihr Hunger habt ist das ein guter Startpunkt. Zu finden ist er dann bei den folgenden Koordinaten:

E: There is very much to tell about Douglas Adams to whom this Cache is dedicated. And most of it can be found on Wikipedia. What most people don't know, however, is the fact that the idea for his bestselling novel "The Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy" results from a bunch of Gösser beers he tilted while visiting Innsbruck, my home town. Afterwards he was pretty drunk, crashed at the camping ground (which is a housing complex now) and stared at the stars while thinking up this incredible book. Before his death in 2001, I was lucky enough to attend one of his readings in Innsbruck, an event capable of making you laugh until you cry. Incredible how a single person can come up with such a multitude of funny ideas. Above all, the Answer to the Ultimate Question of Life, The Universe, and Everything (= A). Of course, the answer is nothing without the question itself (= B * C, B > C).
