Geocache Description:

You are looking for a 35mm film canister, hidden outside the Church grounds, there is no need to enter the Church grounds to locate this cache. Please treat the area with respect.

Parking is available on the road running alongside the churches.

This Grand Church has the full name is Our Lady of Perpetual Succour, Gillingham. It was built by Frederick Banham in 1898.

'Our Lady' is not a parish church but, in fact, a chapel of ease to Beccles, St Benet's over the Suffolk border, which was also built by Frederick Banham.

Gillingham has three churches, St Mary's, All Saints, and Our Lady, all in a row, cut off from the village by the busy A146, Norwich to Beccles road.

If anybody would like to expand to this series please do, I would just ask that you could let Sadexploration know first so he can keep track of the Church numbers and names to avoid duplication. There is also a Church Micro Stats page found via the Bookmark list.
