I bought a jar of low fat mayonnaise to try out a healthier alternative. However, after getting through half of the jar, I decided to dump the rest as I just couldn't get used to the taste. While mentioning the food waste at work, insomniatic agreed and stated his classic adage: "Go big or go home."
Situated at the top of Mount Highland, you are looking for this exact mayo jar, but this time with more agreeable contents. The easiest approach will require a 3.5 mile one-way hike with about 2,500 feet in elevation gain. Follow the ridgeline from Mt. Gordon Lyon. Go big or go home.
You may want to note the number in the jar lid for future reference.

Nearest parking is at the end of Arctic Valley Road in the Alpenglow Ski Area parking lot. There is a $5 parking fee (Alaska State Park Passes are NOT exempt). Gates are closed between 2200 and 0500 hours, so plan accordingly. While visiting, feel free to stop at the snack bar near the parking lot. Staffed by a father-daughter team, they enjoy hearing about geocaching adventures and are appreciative of any CITO efforts in Arctic Valley.
