Motorway Mayhem caches are intended to provide fairly easy drive-by caches together with useful “just-off” motorway information for travellers who are in need of a break or seek alternatives to the typical motorway service station type fare and prices. It is hoped this series and concept will grow as other cachers add further caches along the length and breadth of Britain’s Motorways
A quick and easy cache to grab.
This was placed one evening whilst we were waiting for our dog training class to start.
Located just off the A653 to Leeds which is a couple of minutes drive from juntion 28. There are plenty of spots to leave the car whilst you grab this one. Due to the location some stealth maybe required, mainly due to doggles waiting for training classes just down the road.
After you have grabbed the cache you can continue down the A653 towards Leeds where petrol, food and toilets can all be found at the White Rose Centre (all at none motorway prices) with plenty of free parking, and some other caches if you feel like a longer break.
