The Mega itself:

At the main event, we are planning a range of themed stalls and activities to suit the occasion including some photo opportunities with Signal the frog, geocaching related trade stands, outdoor entertainment and lots of things to keep the children happy You can also pay a visit to the world's largest collection of British cars in the museum.

We look forward to welcoming you to the 6th annual UK Mega event in the West Midlands.

Other things to do in the West Midlands Region:

The West Midlands Region is in the heart of the UK and contains some of the country's best tourist attractions including; Stratford-upon-avon, the birthplace of William Shakespeare and the Royal Shakespeare Company; Warwick Castle, featuring almost one thousand years of British history and the Black Country Living Museum.

For the younger Geocachers there is Cadbury World, where the world famous Cadbury Dairy Milk Chocolate has been made since 1905; Alton Towers, home of Oblivion the world's first vertical drop roller coaster and Drayton Manor, home of Shockwave the only stand-up roller coaster in Europe!

Camping:

Why not enjoy the full geocaching experience this year and camp on site at the Heritage Motor Centre, right on the doorstep of the Mega itself! It's the best way to ensure you don't miss a thing including all our side events in the week leading up to the main event on Saturday the 3rd August.

There are 200 pitches available, 50 of which have electric hook up (available on a first come first served basis), for a whole week from Monday 29th July - Sunday 4th August. Prices start from £16 per night for a pitch without EHU and £22 per night with EHU. However, for you we have created a special week's discounted price of only £100 (non-EHU) and £140 (EHU). The longer you stay the more you'll save! Why not spend a whole 7 days exploring our region and get a discount on your booking!

On the Friday evening before the main Mega Event, everyone will be welcome to attend the campsite for an evening of socialising, food, drink and entertainment.

Registration:

As with every UK Mega Event, we are asking you to register your interest on our website as well as on this listing - Include the number of people in your party in your log. Registering your interest ensures you get all the up-to-date information as it happens, helps us know how many people to expect and most importantly gives us an accurate number of attendees than just this listing alone.
