Welcome to the Freedman Five’s first geocache!  We are huge fans of the Hunger Games trilogy so we thought that this fun park and grab was a perfect first cache for us! 

You’ll find this park and grab cache near a beautiful community garden and plantation home.  It is under a canopy of trees near an old barbed wire fence and a beautiful “green meadow” (a la District 12).  You are looking for an orange backpack that is rigged cleverly where Katniss slept during the Hunger Games.  If you haven’t read the books, the clue will help you.  FTF gets a $5 Dairy Queen gift card (there’s one close by!) so you won’t go hungry after caching!  The first 24 “Tributes” to successfully reach the cache get their very own mocking jay pin or their choice of bookmark of their favorite Tribute!  Happy Reading and Caching and may the odds be ever in your favor!
