This is the first cache that we have placed. We felt this part of the arboretum required a cache, as it was distinctly lacking. This is going to be an amazing area once the trees grow. There are tracks (bitumen and dirt) that lead you most of the way there; off road through the plantation for the last little bit. The terrain is quite steep in places but worth it for the view :)
Bernie is a beagle, and had such a wonderful time racing around chasing various smells as we wandered around the arboretum, that we thought we'd dedicate this cache to him. A simple, regular sized traditional cache (square sistema container). There is space for swaps - we've included some swaps, as well as some stickers from ariesz's workplace; they are 36 beautiful stickers of flora and fauna.
