Lenin Peak Backside Cache
This cache brings you to a place with a staggering view to the eastern slopes of the highest mountain of the "Zaalaj ridge" - Lenin Peak (7134 m asl) and to his neighbour - Zukov Peak (6845 m asl). You can see the other side of the mountain, than almost all climbers, which are going by the "Normal route" the to Lenin peak top. The place of the cache is only rarely visited and you have a posibility to see a panorama, which saw only few peoples before you...

Lenin Peak
Almost all Lenin Peak climbers know only the north face of the mountain, because the "Normal route" partially goes throuh this face and continues on the ridge from the west.
But Lenin Peak is serious mountain -- a large massiff with many faces and ridges. This cache offer to you a monumental view to the giant
east faces of Lenin Peak and also of his neighbor -- Peak Zukov.
There is of course not only the "normal route" to the top of Lenin Peak, but also many other routes -- much more difficult and also much more valuable. Some of them are visible on attached image (see bellow).
Cache placement
For this cache you have to organizae a small mountaneering expedition, but you have not to climb Lenin Peak. The cache is hidden at altitude
6315m asl between Pik Spartak and Pik Edinstva, not far from the point marked in maps as 6418. The best way to the cache is from Pik Spartak.
You have to be a skilled climber. There are few technial difficulities on the route. You have to be able to use scarpoons, ice axe, be skilled with the rope and with the high altitude. You have to know, how to prevent the altitude disease.
Because of the altitude (6315m asl) is a good acclimatization extremly necessary -- fast accent threats your life because of danger of altitude disease. Please, be carefully!
