How Geocaching Works

Please note Use of geocaching.com services is subject to the terms and conditions in our disclaimer.

Geocache Description:

THE CACHE IS NOT AT THE PUBLISHED COORDINATES, BUT IS LOCATED WITHIN A 2 MILE RADIUS.

This is the first in a series of 5 caches placed to encourage geocachers to dust down those old maths skills learnt at school, college and university. Each cache in the series will be progressively more challenging.

To solve this first cache, you will need to solve maths problems similar to those found on a GCSE Foundation Maths paper.

The cache can be found at N50 ab.cde W 000 fg.hjk.  The cache itself is a black 35mm film canister.  To help you find it (as these caches are more about the maths than the find) it is hidden in the left-most of the clue items, towards the front underneath the usual stick-o-flage.

Please do not include hints, spoilers etc in your logs about the questions or the cache location. This will be classed as cheating and may result in disqualification from the cache!

Well done to Big_Al260 for learning something at school and putting it to good use to get FTF!  How about Geomaths #2?
