Elmsleigh: With regret I am going to archive this one. It took quite some time to create but trying to keep a cache at the end is difficult. I will leave the cartridge on the Wherigo site for anyone to play if they wish.

Geocache Description:

This is a Wherigo version of Snakes and Ladders that will lead to a small geocache. This game was inspired by a website I found showing the Snicket Ways of Cam. A Snicket Way is an original footpath or lane that cuts through this 1980's built housing estate.

Lady luck will be a major factor in how long and how far you will need to walk to complete the game and find the cache. Best to set aside a couple of hours to play. There is ample free parking at the start. If you are lucky you will find more ladders than snakes and make a speedy find, however don't be surprised if you find some slippery snakes and find yourself back to where you were. I have tested the game extensively and have managed to complete it every time, sometimes quickly, other times you may find yourself going round in circles for some time.

To play the game and find the cache you will need a Wherigo enabled device, either gps or smart phone. Details can be found at www.wherigo.com .
If you have any issues with the game cartridge please email me through my profile and I will attempt to resolve the issue. This is my first wherigo and has been quite an experience.

Notes on game play. You won't see a game board, you will only see the zone or square that you are currently in and the square that you need to move to. If you can only see your current square you will need to roll the dice to move on. If you find a ladder or snake follow the pointer to get you to the indicated square, you shouldn't have to retrace your steps., the Snickets will take you direct.

Please ensure that the cache is fully covered after returning. Failure to do so will result in its rapid demise. Thank you
