Geocache Description:

Geocachers are by nature curious and inquisitive, and often travel abroad to visit new places and learn about the world around them. Of course, Geocachers are also on the search for geocaches in faraway lands and are always happy to log a smiley when they are far from home.

Thanks to local geocacher (and Groundspeak volunteer) 'Kelux', the beautiful city of Manaus, Amazonas has now been placed on the list of 'Must See' cities in the world of Geocaching! He has created a caching tour that showcases the incredible beauty and compelling history that Manaus has to offer. Geocaching has always provided a wonderful way to explore the world...and now Geocaching can say: Welcome to Manaus!'

*A personal note about this cache...placing this cache in Manaus is my way of saying 'Thank You' to Kelux who (to this date) has placed every cache in Manaus. At least now he will have one to find, too! ...and as for the location of this cache, if you frequent the nearby Aeroclub, you may one day see this view (photo below) from from your very own office window!
