Ceci est la troisième d’une série de 8 caches (+1 bonus), dédiées au célèbre reporter Tintin et à son aventure dans « L’affaire Tournesol » qui se déroule, en partie, en Suisse.
This is the third cache of a serie of 8 (+ 1 bonus), with the theme of the famous reporter Tintin and his adventure in « The Calculus Affair » which part of it takes place in Switzerland.

Tintin, Haddock et Milou entrent dans la gare de Cornavin, dans l’espoir de retrouver le professeur Tournesol avant que le train ne parte pour Nyon. Cependant, ils n’y arrivent pas à temps et, de retour à l’hôtel, Tintin parvient à obtenir, atravers le numéro de téléphone, l’adresse de la destination du professeur.

« L’affaire Tournesol » a été publiée par Hergé en 1956. L’un des plus grands dessinateurs de BD du XXe siècle avait choisi la Suisse, et plus particulièrement Nyon, pour pimenter l’intrigue de la disparition du professeur Tournesol. Ce personnage est d’ailleurs inspiré par le scientifique Auguste Piccard, grand-père de Bertrand Piccard lui-même amateur de Tintin!

Curiosité: La gare de Genève, communément appelée gare de Cornavin, est la principale gare ferroviaire du canton de Genève. Quatrième gare de Suisse, elle voit passer 85 000 passagers et 230 trains par jour.

Tintin in Switzerland 3 – Cornavin railway station, Geneva

Tintin, Haddock and Snowy arrive at Cornavin railway station hoping to find professor Calculus before the train departure to Nyon. However they miss the train and when back to the hotel they are able to find Calculus destination in Nyon.

« The Calculus Affair » was published by Hergé in 1956. One of 20^th century biggest comics author had chosen Switzerland and specially Nyon, to spice up the plot of professor Calculus kidnap. This character was inspired by the famous scientist Auguste Piccard, great-father of Bertrand Piccard, himself Tintin’s fan.

Curiosity: Geneva railway station, currently known as Cornavin station, it is the main railway station of Geneva state. It is the fourth railway station in Switzerland with a daily movement of 85 000 passengers and 230 trains.
