ruthny: As this cache is now 10 years old, I am archiving it to make a way for other hiders to have an opportunity in Central Park. The area of the hide has changed substantially over the years but the hiding place is still an excellent one, if someone wants to repeat the hide.

In a complete reversal from the perplexing puzzle caches usually encountered in NYC, this pastime is fair game for all puzzle fans; newbies as well as the regular, seasoned heavy hitters!
There is no container to be found at the given coordinates--it's just the local Station of the US Post Office. But feel free to take a walk there, if you desire!
These are the Sultan's jewels. Red and blue, they were his lifeblood, during a career that spanned over twenty years. Loved by some, and hated by others, he built a house, and led off a dynasty.
