Papež ma vas rad!
Cerkvica sv. Danijela v Zalogu pri Postojni je posvečena srečanju takratnega papeža Janeza Pavla drugi s Slovensko mladino. Srečanje je potekalo 18. maja 1996 na njegov rojstni dan na bližnjem postojnskem športnem letališču. Ker pa je letališče še vedno v uporabi so vsa naslednja srečanja prestavili pred Cerkvico Sv. Danijela v Zalogu pri Postojni, pred cerkev pa v ta namen postavili križ.
Besede 'Papež ma vas rad!' je papež Janez Pavel II. Izrekel na tem prvem srečanju 18. maja 1996, po tistem, ko so mu vsi ljudje zapeli Happy Birthday, še prej pa izjavil, da je mislil, da smo Slovenci, zato smo mu še enkrat zapeli Vse najboljše še v slovenščini.

The church of St. Daniel in Zalog near Postojna is dedicated to meeting the then Pope John Paul the second with the Slovenian Youth. Meeting took place on 18 May 1996 on his birthday at a nearby sport airport Postojna. However, since the airport is still used all subsequent meetings moved to the church of St. Daniel in Zalog near Postojna, and placed a cross near the church for this purpose.
‘Papež ma vas rad!’ ('Pope likes you!') were the words that Pope John Paul II. said at this first meeting on 18 May 1996, after all the people sang Happy Birthday, having previously stated that he thought that we were Slovenes, so we sang once again the Happy Birthday in Slovenian.
