The Common Field Recreation Ground Trust" was set up at the behest of the Charity Commission which deemed Sir Mark Collet's gift to be charitable. The current Parish Councillors of Kemsing are the Trustees. Correspondence concerning that Trust should be sent to: Clerk to Kemsing Parish Council, The St. Edith Hall, High Street, Kemsing, Sevenoaks, Kent TN15 6NA. The Parish Council bought the land on which the Pavilion is sited from the Common Field Recreation Ground Trust and leases it to the Kemsing Pavilion Trust which pays a nominal annual rent to the Parish Council. The Pavilion was built by the Kemsing Sports Association (KSA), which employed the Architect, Peter Taylor, to design the building. A Pavilion Steering Group was set up with the KSA and Parish Council to finalise the design and obtain tenders for the building. Kent County Council, and many donations from villagers and local businesses, the building was formally opened in August 1988
