Friends of Busse Woods

for this Picnic Day CITO Event!

While there is always trash to be picked up, this time of the year the focus is on conservation projects. We will be doing habitat restoration with Friends of Busse Woods in the southern part of Busse Woods, near the boat rental facility.

From our coordinator with Friends of Busse, Matt Haas, "Typically we encourage volunteers to wear sturdy shoes, jeans, and long sleeve shirts. If they have gloves, they should bring their own but we have extras for those who need to borrow a pair. We also will provide any tools or garbage bags that may be needed during the day."
