This is part of a short series of Letterbox hybrids set up to link a few caches together on a path with only one cache on it already. You are looking for a plastic screw top jar with a stamp, pad, pen & notebook. Please cover it up well when you leave as the undergrowth will die back in the autumn. There is room for small swaps & trackables.
Letterboxing seems to have been overtaken by geocaching so I have converted my letterboxes into this mini series. The path links Lancing with Coombes & goes past Cow Bottom Hovel. A hovel used to be somewhere where the animals lived on the ground floor & the people lived above & benefitted from the warmth of th animals below. There is no evidence that this was once a dwelling place though. Great views along this path.
