Sadly the strong fishing line that was tied to the cache was cut and the pine cone removed, so I have replaced it in the same tree with a more traditional large micro.
Note that Stanmore Country Park is more Country than Park. No flowerbeds, lawns or park benches - just unspoilt natural oak and hornbeam woodland interspersed with areas of grassland alive with rabbits, jays and occasional muntjac deer.
It is designated as a Local Nature Reserve (for good reason) - please respect the environment.
Thanks to the London Borough of Harrow who are responsible for the area for giving permission to place this cache and the others in the reserve.
Finally, allow me to introduce you to Spud, a SPINELESS hedgehog found in Aylesbury. He will also be of absolutely no assistance in finding this cache!
Congratulations on First to Find to IB Searching who had travelled a good distance to attend a CITO (Cache in Trash out) in the Country Park at the time the original cache was placed.
