La compagnie Magnin se dirige alors vers le pont où elle se heurte aux sentinelles qui sont neutralisées à l'arme blanche.. Le pont est dégagé, il est alors 5 heures 45. La compagnie Magnin traverse le pont et se met en protection à l’autre extrémité.
