I'm sure some folks out there believe that serious puzzle solvers and makers must simply have too much time on our hands -- they just don't understand the attraction of puzzling. As for myself, I really enjoy that feeling when I nail a puzzle I have worked on for hours. I also love it when fellow cachers tell me that they have had fun working to polish off the series of puzzles I have created. As for having too much time on my hands? Well ... sometimes maybe.
